Tuesday Mar 28, 2017
Colin Schneider is one of the youngest active researchers in the United States. He has been published in such magazines as Animals and Men and Cryptid Culture, maintains an informative blog, and hosts his own show called "Crypto-Kid." As you will hear, his knowledge of the unexplained runs deep, and his enthusiasm for cryptozoology in general and Bigfoot in particular is contagious.
Before the interview with Colin, Andy and Mark talk about a recent bill in Washington State that would designate Sasquatch as the state cryptid, as well as books they are currently reading, such as Glen Boulier's "Witnessing Bigfoot."

Episode 111: Bigfoot Bookshelf feat. Matt B. Hooks
Tuesday Mar 14, 2017
Tuesday Mar 14, 2017
Matt B. Hooks is a dyslexic author who learned how to face and overcome his fears of reading and writing. He went on to earn his Master's degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa to become a special education teacher. It is now his mission to reach out to those who are at risk of developing a "learned helplessness" attitude towards reading. He has written the book "Enormous Norm Goes to School," about a boy named Dean who helps his Bigfoot friend learn important social skills. In this episode, Mark and Andy talk to Matt about his life experiences and why he chose Bigfoot to be a central character in his latest work.
But first, the guys give their reviews of Vince Dorse's "Untold Tales of Bigfoot" graphic novel. Suffice it to say they have their fingers crossed for a Volume II.
Matt B. Hooks' books can be found on Amazon, and you can write him at authormattbhooks@wordpress.com
Our next SasWhat Nation episode will focus on Alaska--if you have a story to share, please send it in soon.
